This is another good way to honour our beautiful batik at Harrods London!!
Malaysian craft works will be on display in London's Harrods from Feb 23 until March 28 in conjunction with the Malaysian Craft Promotion there, Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said today.
He said 3,173 craft products would be on display at the venue for the occasion and would remain there for another six months after that.
Harrods' customers would also have an opportunity to watch the process of making hand-drawn batik and also to try their hands at batik drawing and colouring, he told reporters at a preview of the Harrods Malaysia Craft Promotion at the Craft Complex here.
He said the Malaysian Craft Promotion in London would be opened by the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah.
