Style Inspiration: Red Carpet Evening Dresses

Play it safe or dare to be different?

If you are lacking inspiration for your award show on the red carpet or any gala dinner, the runway is one of the best resources. You can take cues from past runways for vintage trends or current runway for upcoming trends & styles and choosing the bold colors that were hot then, and use these as the starting point for dreaming up your fabulous evening look.

Hopefully this year's Academy Awards on Sunday 26 February, major fashion statements can be made on the red carpet, not just toning down their styles so that they will not be included in the league of worst dressed celebrities.

Perhaps they can show some styles for the fans to inspire, not just to impress; possibly some surprises -maybe newer brighter hues that steer away from the classic while not cracking the black-tie dress code of the event.
